Comments Are Here, Plus a Round of Fixes
Builds, walkthroughs, crafting recipes, and guides have all been public for a while now, but there's been no way to talk about them. If a build carried you through the campaign, or a recipe's cost estimate was way off, there was nowhere to say so. Now there is: everything public on the site has a comment section.
Comments
Scroll to the bottom of any public build, walkthrough, recipe, or guide and you'll find the thread. The Contents card in the sidebar links straight to it, which helps on a long guide. Anyone can read comments, and you just need to be signed in to join in.
You can reply to a comment, vote it up or down, and sort the thread to see the best-rated or newest comments first. If you regret something you posted, you can delete it. If someone else's comment crosses a line, every comment has a Report button.
If you published the thing being discussed, you have the final say over its thread. You can remove comments on your own content, or switch comments off in the editor if you'd rather not have them at all. Deleting a build or guide takes its comments with it.
Page cleanup
Walkthrough and crafting recipe pages were tidied up to match builds and guides, so comments sit in the same place everywhere. On a walkthrough, the list of acts now stays in the sidebar as you scroll, and Track has moved into the … menu at the top of the page. Your character's Walkthrough tab still has the live tracking card.
Other changes
- Public builds, walkthroughs, and guides have readable links now, made from their title instead of a long string of characters. Old links still work.
- When you clone a build, walkthrough, or recipe, the copy credits the original author, the same way cloned guides already did.
- The feedback button in the status bar has a Support option, for when you need a hand rather than reporting a bug.
- There's a new version of the helper with security updates. It'll offer the update in its tray menu.
Fixes
- Gear you set up only through the Sockets tab no longer disappears when you close the item drawer.
- The Zones table on your Activity page no longer collapses back to the first few rows every time you enter a new zone.
- Game data stopped updating for a while after GGG changed how POE2 patches are numbered. That's fixed.
- If a new profile picture fails to save, your old one comes back instead of the new one sticking around as if it had worked.
If someone's build or walkthrough has been doing the heavy lifting for you this league, go tell them. And as always, let me know what breaks.
